Actress Eva Longoria has confirmed that she and pop star Beyonce Knowles are currently in talks to star in a big screen adaptation of ?Tipping The Velvet?.
The Sarah Waters novel about a love affair between two women has already been made into a drama series for the BBC but it is now set to hit the silver screen with director Sophia Coppola at the helm.
Longoria said of the film to BreakingNews: “Yes it’s true, we’re talking about doing that. It’s such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story.?
Knowles added: “We’ve had ?Brokeback Mountain? so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment.”
