No, this isn’t a spoiler alert for Desperate Housewives. It’s better. It’s breaking news about a sexy schoolyard comedy. Woo! And producer Sim Sarna couldn’t resist sharing the news with us before it hit the trades. Yay for Sim! And now, the details:
Imagine an elementary school with the lowest test scores in the state. Teachers are humping like bunny rabbits all over the school grounds, and the dirtbag principal is working the PTA set for cash.
So goes the setup for the comedy Lower Learning, brought to you by Ambush Entertainment and Starz Media and set to go into production in just a few days.

Now imagine that the principal of this school is about-to-blow-up-big-time-any-second-now funnyguy Rob Corddry. And the inspector attempting to get to the bottom of the mess is little miss Desperate Eva Longoria.
Imagine further that a vice principal with noble intentions is going to step forward and try and rally the irksome teaching staff of Barry Goldwater Elementary School to buck up and be good. And then imagine Jason Biggs as that vice principal.
Yes, Learning, written and directed by Mark Lafferty, sounds promising. I’m very excited to see Biggs in a movie that doesn’t involve a wedding or a schlocky romance. It’s time for the horny pie-humping boy to become a man and save the day. And Corddry was pretty much born to play a dirty academic.
