Eva Longoria is showing us all that sex appeal is a hot selling item as usual. In an article on Nov. 30, 2012, Just Jared has reported, Eva Longoria: Lingerie Lady for ‘GQ Mexico’! In the December 2012 issue of GQ Mexico Eva appears stripped down into her sexy lingerie.

This alluring 37-year-old actress has commented on her busy schedule,

“I do not stop for a minute. I feel like my day had 48 hours, I like to lead a busy life. My mother raised four daughters, worked as a teacher and every day, at 6:00 p.m., cook dinner for my dad and for us, and every morning we also had the breakfast, so I see my mother and think, ‘I’m not doing enough.’”

And on being seen as one of the world’s sexiest women she has said, “Ah, I always feel flattered when I say that! I hope people perceive me as beautiful in everything I do in relation to works of charity and philanthropy, or political activism. For me, those are the things that define beauty. The beauty lies mainly on personality, not on skin.”

Eva Longoria is in high-demand post–Desperate Housewives and chats about her new political and TV projects, as the star appears on the November 2012 cover of Latina, which hits newsstands and Nook Newsstand on October 16.

Longoria talks to Latina about being cochair of President Obama’s reelection campaign, speaking at the Democratic National Convention, and being executive producer of two highly anticipated new shows—Ready for Love and Devious Maids.

On being cochair of President Obama’s reelection campaign:

“When they asked me to officially be a cochair, it was not just to put my face on something,”

says Longoria.

“My mission is to educate the public on Obama’s record, specifically with the two communities that pertain tome: women and Latinos.

On transitioning from actress to executive producer through her new production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment: “It’s a great position to be in … I want to be the go-to person for amazing projects.”

On finding the right men among hundreds for her new show Ready for Love:

“I’m a woman. I can tell if they want to find their soul mate or if they are just looking for stardom.”

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry on collaborating with Eva on Devious Maids and her future success:

“She came to Desperate Housewives as an unemployed actress and she left a star who was very aware of her position in the entertainment industry. She’ll probably end up better than me.”

On why education makes her feel powerful:

“As an actress, there’s a stereotype that we can’t be smart, we can’t be political, we can’t be civic-minded or engaged. We just have to stay in front of the camera and look pretty,”

Longoria says.

“No, I’m human. I can do more.”

Desperate Housewives is over but Eva Longoria is not. She’s on the cover of the September Lucky looking cool in a pair of short shorts.

Inside she discusses what she’ll wear to first lady Michelle Obama’s house assuming her candidate gets re-elected. Nothing too see-through, mind you.

“The back is too sheer for the White House,”

she says about a Gucci sheath with a chiffon bodice and velvet accents that she tries on.

“I’d never wear this.”

Also, she talks about her pal Victoria Beckham (she’s funny and has great style), missing her eight years with Housewives (

“I miss the consistency of going to work”

), studying the political other side (she just read a bio of Ronald Reagan) and why she never wears flip-flops.

“I was born in platform heels,”

she tells the mag.

“I actually always fall down when I’m wearing flip-flops.”

Texas-born-and-raised Longoria, a major supporter of President Obama, has become a celebrity talisman for his strong showing among Latinos, especially the Mexican-American Democrats who dominate the Latino vote. She has already been to the Obama White House and she’s counting on going back in a second term.

But her new best friend is Cuban-born actor Andy Garcia, with whom she just co-starred in the recent release For Greater Glory. (She has two movies coming in the fall and three more in the works.)

She says she and Garcia joke about doing every movie together.

“We wanted to put it in each other’s contracts,”

she says.

“I’ll do anything he asks.”

For the first time in years, Desperate Housewives is captivating America again — for reasons its creator and cast can’t be happy about. Former star Nicollette ­Sheridan sued Touchstone Television for wrongful termination after the show’s creator Marc Cherry killed off Sheridan’s man-eating alter ego, Edie Britt, in spring 2009. The details were scandalous — for instance, Cherry testified that Sheridan once called costar Teri Hatcher “the meanest woman in the world” — and the juicy, three-week trial culminated in a verdict reminiscent of Housewives’ famous cliff-hangers: A judge declared a mistrial due to a hung jury.

The publicity around the trial is a fitting coda for the eight-year-old ABC dramedy, which will finally sign off with a two-hour finale on May 13 at 9 p.m. To commemorate the end of this ­pioneering series (and in light of the show’s recent return to newsy relevance), EW decided to put the ladies of Wisteria Lane — klutzy divorcée Susan Mayer (Hatcher), frazzled mom Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), WASPy homemaker Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross), and suburban sexpot Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) — on the cover of EW one last time. We conducted two dozen interviews with the cast, crew, and writers, who recall Housewives’ provocative premise, its controversial story lines and effect on the TV industry, and one very gnarly Vanity Fair photo shoot.

The chats with major Desperate players reaped delicious behind-the-scenes details from the series: On-screen husband Doug Savant blames the brouhaha over the much talked-about Vanity Fair cover on an “inhospitable” environment created by the production team at the photo shoot; Cross admitted that “people thought for a long time that I was the bitch” of the show; James Denton — whose character Mike Delfino was killed off the show on March 11 — told us about how much of a “bummer” the Sheridan lawsuit was and that she was “fun to work with”; Huffman admitted to being such a fan of her on-screen husband, played by Savant, that she offered to pay part of his salary so he wouldn’t make less money in the show’s final season; and all the ladies shared their favorite moments from the series — for Hatcher it was being “naked in the bushes” and for Longoria it was mowing the Solis’ lawn in the pilot while wearing heels. “Most of my favorite memories about the show have to do with sitting in my trailer with Marcia or Felicity,” Longoria continued, “and talking about life.”
